The third edition of the Youth Carnegie Peace Prize is taking place this year
It is precisely the young generation that has a crucial role to play in the field of education and peace. Many young people already are, on a daily basis and with success, working for a better world.
In the fall of 2023, the astounding work of young peacebuilders from all over the world will be showcased through a video contest and the best initiatives will compete for the 2023 Youth Carnegie Peace Prize. The winner of the Youth Carnegie Peace Prize will be awarded with the title "Youth Ambassador of the Peace Palace" during a ceremony in the Great Hall of Justice of the Peace Palace. The video contest is a collaborative initiative of the Youth Peace Initiative and the Carnegie Foundation – Peace Palace.
Participants aged between 18 and 29 years old are asked to submit a video of their work as a peacebuilder before August 18th, 2023.
